  • When is BLUES, VIEWS & BBQ?
    • The 2019 dates are:
      – Saturday, August 31, 11:00 am – 10:00 pm
      – Sunday, September 1, 11:00 am – 9:00 pm
  • Where is the festival held?
    • Levitt Pavilion for the Performing Arts & the grounds of the Westport Library
      – GPS – 20 Jesup Road, Westport, CT 06880
  • What is the ticket price?
    • LEVIT LIVE tickets
    •  – Saturday  – Early Bird 30 (while supplies last)
    •  – Sunday – Early Bird 20 (while supplies last)
    •  – Two-day Pass – Early Bird 50 (while supplies last)
    •  – Children accompanied by paid adult – FREE
  • What is included in the entrance fee?
    • JESUP JAM tickets tickets provide access to ALL activities on the Library grounds: kids’ amusements, Imagination Playground�, games, food court, marketplace, Jesup Jam Music Stage. Children’s activities close at 8pm.
    • LEVITT LIVE PASS provides access to Jesup Jam PLUS access to Levitt Pavilion for the Performing Arts for 9+ hours of top name performers each day (1 day passes for specific days and 2 day passes are sold separately)
  • Why are there two types of tickets?
    • Experience over the past years has shown that the Festival attracts two audiences – families looking for a day of fun with the kids, and music fans looking for top name acts.  This is why we changed the format to two ticket levels.
  • Are special discounts available?
    • The organizers considers the Festival a community event and keeps ticket prices fair for the value offered.
  • Can tickets be pre-purchased?
    • Yes – tickets will soon be available at
  • Do you accept credit cards at the gate?
    • YES!
  • Is my admission ticket good for both days?
    • – Individual tickets are good only for the specified day – Saturday ticket is good for Saturday only, and Sunday ticket is good for Sunday only.
      – Two-day passes are available at the gate and online
  • If I buy a JESUP JAM Ticket, can I add the LEVITT LIVE Pass later?
    • Yes – we will reduce the LEVITT LIVE price by $10.
  • Are my kids under 12 still Free if I upgrade my ticket to LEVITT LIVE?
    • Yes.  Kids 12 and under are Free any where at the BBQ Fest – but must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Where can I park?
    • Free parking is readily available adjacent to the Festival in the Imperial Avenue lot, the Jesup Road lot, off Main Street in Parker Harding Plaza and in the Elm Street lot. Parking is also available on the Post Road. Please read signs for time limitations.
  • Is there handicapped access to the festival?
    • Yes. The two main areas of the festival are one level, but the Levitt Pavilion is grassy and sloped   Care should be taken by all festival attendees.
    • Moving between the Imperial Avenue Parking lot and the main Festival areas may involve stairs, so use of a car would be advisable .
  • Entertainment
    • There are two stages, one in the JESUP JAM area on the grounds of the Library and the main stage at the Levitt Pavilion for the Performing Arts
    • An LEVITT LIVE ticket must be purchased to enter the Levitt Pavilion.
  • Can I reserve seats for any of the shows?
    • No, The Levitt Pavilion is a BYOS (bring your own seat) venue
  • Do I need an ID to purchase alcoholic beverages?
    • Yes. Purchase and consumption of alcoholic beverages requires valid photo identification.
  • Can I bring my own food and drink?
    • No. Outside food and beverages are not allowed into the event
  • Can I bring a cooler?
    • No. Coolers, bottles and cans may not be brought into the festival
  • Can I bring my pet to the festival?
    • – No. Pets of any kind are never allowed at the Levitt Pavilion.
  • Any suggestions for festival attendees?
    • – Blues, Views & BBQ is an outdoor festival, held rain or shine – so dress accordingly
      – Much of the site is grass so comfortable shoes are recommended and also because you will be dancing!
      – Bring a blanket or low chair for lawn seating
      – Sun screen is recommended for the day, and bug spray is a good idea for evening performances
  • Where do the festival proceeds go?
    • A portion of the proceeds of the event will be distributed to two great not-for-profit organizations: Staples Tuition Grants and Wakeman Town Farm.  Recipients from past events have included the Levitt Pavilion and the Westport Library, Save the Children, Westport Historical Society and others.
  • How do I get a Press Pass?

  • What happens if it rains?
    • Break out your umbrella because rain won’t stop this party!  Thunder will delay performances and attendees will be notified if there is a weather situation.
